ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Implementation Manager with deep payor experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end deployment of Hippocratic AI's voice AI use cases for health plan customers — from signed contract to go-live. You will sit at the intersection of project management, technical configuration, and health plan operations, ensuring each program launches correctly configured and on time. You will also play a foundational role in defining HAI's standard platform onboarding process for health plans, building the playbook that makes each successive deployment faster and more scalable than the last.
Location & Travel
- This role is remote. Regular travel to client sites and periodic sessions at our Palo Alto headquarters will be required.
- Candidate must be willing to travel 25–50%
What You'll Do
- Own use case deployments from contract signature to go-live, serving as the primary project lead for health plan implementation engagements
- Build and maintain the Implementation Charter for each deployment — timeline, configuration decisions, data requirements, go-live checklist, and sign-off criteria
- Configure use cases for deployment: dialer setup, agent configuration, population filters, exclusion rules, call cadence, and routing logic, working directly from the use case requirements.
- Coordinate with health plan data and IT teams to define, validate, and onboard member data files — eligibility pulls, risk stratification lists, care gap flags, and program eligibility fields
- Project-manage across health plan stakeholder teams including population health, care management, clinical ops, Stars/HEDIS, IT, and vendor management, driving accountability to the go-live timeline
- Define and refine HAI's standard platform onboarding process for health plan customers: the initial integration, base data pipeline, member file schema, and care management system connection that makes each additional use case an activation rather than a new integration project
- Build and maintain the HAI implementation playbook — documenting what works, creating reusable templates and checklists, and making every future deployment faster than the last
- Hand off to Customer Success at go-live with complete deployment documentation so the CS team can own the relationship from day one
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-Have:
- A minimum of 5 years of implementation, onboarding, or professional services experience working specifically with health plans or managed care organizations (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicaid MCOs, Blues plans, national or regional payers)
- Fluency in health plan operations — population health, care management, Stars/HEDIS, utilization management — you know how these teams work and which one owns what
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deployments with 60–120 day timelines
- Experience working with health plan member data — eligibility files, risk stratification outputs, care gap lists — and coordinating with health plan IT or data teams to get them right
- Familiarity with health plan IT environments and vendor onboarding processes: security questionnaires, BAA requirements, care management platform integrations (e.g., ZeOmega, Jiva, Salesforce Health Cloud)
- Strong project management and process documentation skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Background at healthcare SaaS companies serving payors — Arcadia, Cotiviti, Inovalon, Evolent Health, ZeOmega, HealthEdge, or similar
- Healthcare IT consulting experience (Accenture, Deloitte, Guidehouse, Milliman) with health plan clients
- Familiarity with Stars/HEDIS measures and how member outreach programs connect to quality performance
- Experience with voice AI, outbound member engagement platforms, or dialer and telephony configuration
- Knowledge of payer-specific compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CMS, NCQA, HIPAA)
